Volunteer: Reno Sparks Gospel Mission Serve DinnerJoin us at the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission as we serve those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
We’ll have the opportunity to serve in the soup kitchen, meet practical needs, and show the love of Jesus through serving others. We serve at RSGM every 4th Thursday of the month! We gather, pray, and prepare at 4:25 PM. Dinner is served from about 4:40–5:30 PM. Our tasks vary based on the number of volunteers, but may include: Serving meals, drinks, and dessertClearing and cleaning tablesTalking and praying with guests as you feel comfortableAfter dinner, we wipe down tables and put chairs upside down on the tables. The time goes by quickly, and the guests are always very appreciative! We’re usually finished by 5:45 PM. Note: Parking may be a challenge.
